“The Pacific Chapelon Nord is one of the most famous steam locomotives in world’s railway history.
Its fame is due in part to its splendid chocolate brown livery with yellow stripes and the colours of the Compagnie du Nord but above all to its high-speed performance.”

Atlantic Nord Room
In keeping with our travel leitmotiv, we decided to give each of our meeting rooms the name of a locomotive.
“A force of nature, this steam locomotive can pull 300 tonnes at over 100 km/h. The Atlantic Nord was the masterpiece of engineer Gaston du Bousquet.
This locomotive was indeed designed to cover a distance of 300 km in 3 hours pulling carriages weighing 300 tonnes, a task it easily took in its stride on the Northern France network.”
